WHAT THIS TELLS US
The Council has a resource consent
requirement to avoid or minimise polluton
in the city’s waterways. However, some
contaminaton will always be out of the
Council’s control. We will contnue to work
with the Waikato Regional Council to improve
this. We also have included funding to
develop integrated catchment management
plans and to improve stormwater quality.
